A Spring Festival with floral decorations and themed parades is planned from early April to late June, and rumour has it that Mary Poppins may blow in (or arrive by car!) to make it a really “jolly holiday” and chalk paintings are already appearing on Main Street!  Another visitor expected for Spring is Superhero Spider Man, due to have his own photo location spot in the Walt Disney Studios Park – good news for Marvel comic fans and little boys who think there are far too many princesses around! Recently opened in the Disney Village is Europe’s largest Lego store, with full size models of Sorcerer Mickey, R2D2, Woody and Buzz Lightyear on display, and plenty of opportunities for kids and AFOL’s (adult fans of Lego) to build their own creations – and it’s open until midnight! The Disney Village also holds monthly shows aimed at adults and a Jazz weekend is scheduled for the 18th and 19th of April. The greatest show of all at Disneyland Paris, however, has got to be Disney Dreams – an extravaganza of lasers, pyrotechnics  and colour projections centred on the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle. Finally, you may notice some building works going at the moment – a Paris Street is being constructed to house a new Ratatouille themed ride, promising to be “Disneylicious” – more about that later, just watch this space!
