Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas – London

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas – London

New Year celebrations seem ages ago, and pancake day is not happening until March, so what has February got to offer? Valentine’s Day of course! It’s the perfect opportunity to show your Romeo or Juliet how much you care and dispel that winter gloom, and 365tickets have some amazing offers available for Valentine’s Day.  A Bateaux London evening river cruise with a sumptuous dinner included would make Valentine’s Day really special. Proposals are optional, but fine dining, great entertainment and romantic views of the city lights are guaranteed, or you could board the London Showboat and listen to those memorable love songs from West End shows whilst enjoying a delicious meal, then dance the night away to a live band.

Valentines Day Cruise Experience

A London Eye Valentines Champagne Experience will make you feel on top of the world, as you view the famous landmarks of London sipping champagne and indulging in some luxury chocolates. Champagne Experiences run from 12.00 – 20.00, and can be combined with a visit to Hampton Court Palace, where they are holding sweet treat days from the 14th to 23rd February. Chocolate lovers will be in heaven as they sample royal hot chocolate in the newly renovated Chocolate Kitchen, once used by the personal chocolatier to King George 1 to create this luxury beverage, then move on to the Fountain Court Cafe to try flavoured chocolate shots, chocolate meringues and cakes. There is plenty to see and do at Hampton Court Palace, a former hotspot for royal romance and intrigue, including the maze, chapel, great hall and tudor kitchen. If you’re looking for something a bit different, you can eat, drink and be merry at the Medieval Banquet in the vaulted cellar of Ivory House. This year’s Valentine event is a Cinderella Ball, and guests will be served a wholesome four course meal with unlimited wine and ale whilst being entertained by singers, dancers, jugglers, aerialists and a contortionist, followed by a disco and, appropriately, a farewell champagne toast at midnight.

Valentines Day Ideas

There also plenty of fabulous shows on in London at the moment – musicals, comedies, drama, dance, opera –  dinner and show, or dinner, show and hotel packages are available too, so put some fun into February, especially Friday 14th!
