Celebrate St Paddy's Day
Saint Patrick’s Day

The biggest day in the Irish calendar approaches and we are all getting our green on to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th March in Dublin.

St Patrick eliminated snakes from Ireland, but he certainly did not banish the sense of Irish fun! If you want to celebrate properly we suggest you visit Ireland’s capital as the entire city will be transformed into one huge green party! On the day itself The Story of the Irish are offering 17% off entry price. This is where you can be entertained and educated in Irish heritage through interactive storytelling. Wanting to delve deeper into your own Irish ancestry? Why not visit the National Archives of Ireland while you’re in Dublin and discover your ancestral roots!

On the 17th March there will be the famous show-stopping St Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade starts at noon on Parnell Square, snaking its way up to O’Connell Street, down Westmoreland Street, Dame Street, and Lord Edward Street, before passing Christ Church Cathedral and finishing just after St. Patrick’s Cathedral. If you are wishing to escape the crowds we have an exclusive offer on Dublin Discovered with 10% off all tickets when you order between 1- 17th March.

In celebration of Irish music and dancing there will be a St Patrick’s Festival Céilí (16:30 on Friday, March 18th – venue TBC) with expert dancers to get you into the Irish spirit! You can also enjoy more céilí craic at the National Concert Hall on Saturday March 19th for Céilí House Live featuring Dónal Lunny’s TRIAD group; soulful traditional Irish Singer, Karan Casey; and exhilarating Irish fiddle trio, Fidil.

Irish Music and dancing goes hand and hand with a traditional Irish drink! If you are a fan of Irish whiskey there is no better place to visit than the Irish Whiskey Museum which is currently 10% off entry price. Of course no visit to Dublin is complete without a taste of “the black stuff;” Guinness Storehouse will be extremely popular during this time, therefore it’s best to book in advance!
