Have you ever wanted to get up close and personal with celebrities? How about world leaders? Maybe even today’s hottest music stars? Although they don’t talk, the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in the heart of Times Square gives you the opportunity to get your hands on, and pictures with, some of the most influential people of all time.

As soon as you walk into the lobby of the museum, right off 42nd street, you’ll find yourself in an upbeat, music-pumping atmosphere of fun. With 365 Tickets voucher in hand, join the line for prepaid tickets and you’ll be up the stairs before you know it. There are lockers available for $5, but most bags are allowed.

One of the coolest things about the Madame Tussauds museum is all the interaction that takes place. Take your pictures with wax Kim Kardashian at the Hollywood Party scene or find yourself in the guest chair of Live with Kelly & Michael, even join President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in the Oval Office for a photo op. There are also options for green screen photos throughout the museum (I recommend riding the bike with E.T. in the basket!)

The museum also provides fun for kids of all ages. Have a child who loves sports? Step into the batters box with Yankee Legend, Derek Jeter. What about fun for the little ones? Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star are waiting to greet you as you wander through the museum.

There is also a 4D Movie, which currently is a Marvel Experience and is included with your ticket. The museum can be explored at your convenience. Breeze through or take your time to look around.

Some of the celebrities you may see include David Wright, Michelle Kwan, Jackie and John F. Kennedy, Pope Francis, Whitney Houston, The Spice Girls, Ru Paul, The Backstreet Boys, Prince, Jessica Simpson, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, and many more.

The museum gives tips on how to take the best wax pictures. One thing I learned was that if you take the picture and aim for the eyes, the pictures comes out looking pretty real. One thing I do recommend is touring the wax museum in conjunction with Ripley’s Believe It or Not, which is located directly next door.

The museum is ever changing, with new exhibits constantly coming and going. Coming soon is the Ghostbuster’s Experience opening Summer 2016. Every time I have been back to visit, there is always a new star or a new face that previously wasn’t there. I hope you’re able to enjoy the museum, and to purchase discount tickets, visit here.
